Milan Spring 2027 Hair: Windswept Strands, Crown Volume and Renaissance Braids

Milan's spring/summer 2027 hair was a study in controlled disorder, according to Bustle's beauty report. At Prada, hair was swept back and teased at the crown, pairing volume with the house's sleek skirts. At Ermanno Scervino, loosely pulled-back updos were left with strands blown across the face, a windswept effect that reads as unplanned.
Vogue World took a different route with what Bustle described as Renaissance styles: loose half-up waves and braided updos that echoed old paintings more than modern salons.
The Milan looks sit alongside the bedhead styling seen in London and the crimped and knotted styles in New York, together suggesting fashion month's hair story is texture rather than polish. Hello! magazine also noted Prada's back-brushed finish as part of that broader shift toward frizzier, more lived-in hair.
Bustle did not name the hairstylists behind the Milan looks. Together with the loose braids and low ponytails seen elsewhere this month, the Milan looks point to volume at the crown and a few stray strands as part of the look.
